Sodobni interier sredi starega sadovnjaka

Še preden vstopimo v hišo, nas na dvorišču pozdravi mogočna stara oljka, ki je bila prav za to pripeljana iz starega oljčnika in priča o navezanosti lastnikov na primorsko pokrajino in o želji, da bi hiša kljub novogradnji ohranila neokrnjen stik s prvotnim zunanjim prostorom. Mimo oljke se tako sprehodimo do vzdolžno oblikovanega pritličnega prostora, ki je na svoji vzhodni in južni strani tesno povezan z vrtom, polnim starih sadnih dreves. Za prijetno slovo od starega sadovnjaka poskrbi prostorna veža, kjer nas pričaka oblazinjena klop z bogatim vzorcem in skritimi dodatnimi predali. Od tod prehod v sodobni interier nakazuje dolga funkcionalna garderobna omara, ki nas mimo sobe za goste popelje v osrednji prostor; ta se razširi v svetlo kuhinjo, jedilnico in dnevno sobo. V sredino prostora je umeščen dolg in širok kuhinjski otok iz kakovostnega umetnega kamna, ki omogoča udobno kuhanje in hkrati sproščen stik z obiskovalci v dnevni sobi. Za pretočnost večnamenskega prostora poskrbi stena za otokom, kjer se za drsnimi vrati skrivata servisni del kuhinje in večja shramba za živila. Izčiščeno podobo osrednjega prostora, ki jo sestavljajo kosi v belih in sivih tonih, razgibajo detajli vertikalnih reber. Ta pod različnimi koti in z različno svetlobo prostoru dodajajo strukturo in dinamiko, obenem pa poskrbijo tudi za prezračevanje gospodinjskih aparatov. Strukturo v prostor vnaša tudi dolgo samonosno stopnišče iz masivnega lesa na severni steni hiše. Premišljeni detajli stopnišča so rezultat uspešnega sodelovanja kar petih mojstrov različnih profilov (arhitekta, tesarja, steklarja, parketarja in slikopleskarja). Stopnišče skozi tri hišne etaže povezuje različne prostore: družabni prostor in mali domači wellness v spodnjem nadstropju ter odprt dnevni del in spalne prostore, ki so v zgornjem nadstropju. Značilnost zgornjega dela je dolg hodnik, ki je zaradi oblike tlorisa pomenil svojevrsten prostorski izziv. Rešitev se je ponudila v obliki letev iz masivnega lesa, ki služijo kot ograja in istočasno kot razgiban razstavni kotiček za rastline in drobnarije, v spodnjem delu pa ponudijo dodatne shranjevalne površine. Spalni prostori nas vsak s svojo teraso vabijo, da se spet ozremo po starodavni pokrajini. Slednja buri domišljijo tudi mlademu ljubitelju dinozavrov, zato je bila posebna pozornost namenjena tudi oblikovanju njegove sobe.

/ Modern interior in the middle of an old orchard

Even before we enter the house, we are greeted by a mighty old olive tree in the yard, which was brought from an old olive grove just for this purpose and which testifies to the owners' attachment to the seaside landscape and to the wish that the house, despite the new construction, would maintain an intact contact with the original outdoor space. We walk past the olive tree to the longitudinally shaped ground floor space, which on its eastern and southern sides is closely connected to a garden full of old fruit trees. A spacious hall provides a pleasant farewell to the old orchard, where an upholstered bench with a rich pattern and hidden additional drawers awaits us. From here, the transition to the modern interior is indicated by a long functional wardrobe, which takes us past the guest room to the central space; this extends into the bright kitchen, dining room and living room. A long and wide kitchen island made of high-quality artificial stone is placed in the middle of the room, which enables comfortable cooking and at the same time relaxed contact with visitors in the living room. The flow of the multifunctional space is ensured by the wall behind the island, where the service part of the kitchen and a larger pantry are hidden behind the sliding doors. The refined image of the central space, which consists of pieces in white and gray tones, is animated by the details of the vertical ribs. At different angles and with different light, they add structure and dynamics to the room, and at the same time they also provide ventilation for household appliances. A long self-supporting solid wood staircase on the northern wall of the house also brings structure into the space. The thoughtful details of the staircase are the result of the successful collaboration of as many as five masters of different profiles (architect, carpenter, glazier, parquetry and painter). The staircase through the three floors of the house connects different spaces: the social space and small domestic wellness on the lower floor, and the open living area and sleeping areas, which are on the upper floor. The feature of the upper part is a long corridor, which, due to the shape of the floor plan, meant a kind of spatial challenge. The solution was offered in the form of slats made of solid wood, which serve as a fence and at the same time as a lively display corner for plants and trinkets, and in the lower part they offer additional storage areas. The bedrooms, each with their own terrace, invite us to look around the ancient landscape again. The latter storms are also the imagination of a young dinosaur lover, so special attention was paid to the design of his room.
